Russia will continue to work on increasing quotas for students from CIS countries, as Moscow's partners in the Commonwealth actively show interest in this initiative. This was announced by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin at the International Parliamentary Forum of the CIS "Pushkin Readings."
"We are receiving very interested feedback from our CIS partners regarding increasing the number of students studying in Russia. And such work is ongoing," said the senior diplomat.
He reminded that in recent years, quotas for students from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan in Russian universities have been increased. "Of course, this work will continue in line with the decisions made at the highest levels of Russian state leadership," - Galuzin assured. - "We will keep this issue under constant control."
