Russian education remains highly sought after in Uzbekistan, with graduates from Russian universities proving to be in high demand across the national economy, Alexey Erkhov, the Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television channel.
"The demand for Russian education is truly immense," the ambassador stated. "Graduates are highly sought after, primarily here within the Uzbek economy." To illustrate this trend, Erkhov pointed to alumni of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, noting that over 100 of its graduates are currently employed within Uzatom, Uzbekistan’s Atomic Energy Agency.
The ambassador further observed that Uzbek citizens who study at Russian universities maintain a strong emotional bond with Russia, often keeping warm memories of their alma maters and their professors long after completing their studies.
