CSTO Foreign Ministers Express Concern Over Escalation in Gaza Conflict

Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have expressed concern over the escalation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and condemned the killing of tens of thousands of civilians in the combat area. This was stated in a declaration by the foreign ministers of CSTO member states regarding the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website.

 

"We express deep concern over the current escalation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, which has led to numerous civilian casualties and increased tensions across the Middle East," - the statement reads. - "We condemn the killing of tens of thousands of civilians, call for the immediate cessation of hostilities, the uninterrupted operation of humanitarian corridors to assist Gaza residents, and restraint amid the threat of expanding armed confrontation."
