Moscow and Tehran plan to conclude a series of supplementary agreements in the future to implement the provisions of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty signed by the presidents of Russia and Iran on January 17, Esmail Baghaei, the official spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said during a weekly briefing.
"The agreement primarily focuses on economic matters and covers approximately 30 areas of economic cooperation. To implement most of the treaty’s provisions, additional and more detailed agreements will need to be signed in the future," Baghaei stated.
He described the treaty as a "roadmap for further collaboration" and emphasized that it would bring significant benefits to both Iran and Russia. Baghaei also affirmed that the Islamic Republic would do everything possible to expedite the ratification process of the treaty.
