Iranian Foreign Ministry: US Acknowledges It Can No Longer Impose the Desired Order on the World

25 December 2023

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani expressed the view that the United States authorities acknowledge their diminishing ability to impose their order on other international players in the emerging multipolar world order. In an interview with the ISNA news agency, Bagheri Kani stated, "If the Americans had acted as they did in previous years, they might have succeeded in imposing their order through force. However, in the current circumstances, they acknowledge that the unilateral approach to establishing a world order is on the decline. Faced with multiple actors in the international arena, they are unable to impose their interests on everyone. The ongoing war crimes by the Israel Defense Forces and the support from US authorities are clear signs of Washington's inability to enforce its desired order on the international community".

He noted that "now the peoples of the world and Palestine have unequivocally demonstrated that they are not willing to sacrifice their interests" to accept the American world order and "will resist the US self-centered approach even at the cost of their own lives."

Bagheri Kani emphasized that only a multipolar world order system can serve as a logical and correct alternative to the system imposed by the US. "Such an order will be capable of safeguarding the interests of independent countries and fostering peace and stability in every region," the deputy minister stated confidently.
