Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers are reported to be continuing their operation at the Al-Shifa medical center in the Gaza Strip, according to Lebanon's Al Mayadeen TV channel.
The IDF is said to be storming the western wing of the medical center, advancing on the hospital building, and blowing up doors and walls in the storming zone.
Iran's Fars news agency reported that internet and electricity were cut off in the hospital building, and journalists outside were detained by Israeli soldiers.
The IDF began the operation, stating that the hospital houses the main command headquarters of the Palestinian Hams movement and underground compounds with hostages kidnapped in the October 7 attack.
