OIC Expresses Concern Following Iran's Attack

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has voiced its concern regarding the escalating situation in the Middle East region following Iran's attack on Israeli territory, urging all parties involved to exercise restraint. In a statement released by the organization's general secretariat, the OIC expressed deep concern over the recent military actions and tensions in the region.

 

"The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation expresses its profound concern over the military actions and escalating tensions witnessed in the region in recent days. It calls for an immediate cessation of the escalation and urges all parties to exercise restraint, warning of grave consequences for the security and stability of the entire region," the statement emphasized.

 

Furthermore, the secretariat called upon the United Nations to take decisive measures to uphold international peace and security. It urged the global community to actively engage in resolving the persistent issues plaguing the Middle East, including the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.
