President Putin Congratulates Russian Muslims on Eid al-Adha

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended warm greetings to Muslims living in and visiting Russia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayram).

 

In a message published on the official Kremlin website, President Putin emphasized that Eid al-Adha marks the completion of the sacred pilgrimage to holy sites and serves as a powerful symbol of unity, offering believers a profound connection to their spiritual and historical heritage.

 

He noted that Muslims, while honoring the traditions and values passed down from their ancestors, celebrate the holiday through acts of kindness, compassion, and support for those in need.

 

The President expressed his appreciation for the constructive and active role Muslim organizations play in Russian society. He acknowledged their contributions in raising children and youth, strengthening family values, and implementing important initiatives in the fields of charity, education, culture, and enlightenment.

 

Putin also gave special recognition to the efforts made by Muslim communities in supporting Russia’s defenders and their families, calling this work deeply deserving of respect.

 

In conclusion, he wished all Muslims good health, success, and all the very best.
