Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks to discuss the ongoing development of bilateral relations, the Kremlin press service reported.
The two leaders reviewed key issues related to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan.
According to the Kremlin, special focus was placed on implementing mutually beneficial joint projects in energy, investment, and industrial production, as well as expanding interregional cooperation and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Putin and Mirziyoyev also agreed to continue maintaining regular personal communication to further strengthen ties between the two countries.
