Putin Offers Condolences Following Terrorist Attack on Train in Pakistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his condolences to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in response to the terrorist attack on a passenger train.

 

“Please accept my deepest condolences regarding the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack on a passenger train in Balochistan province. We strongly condemn this brutal and cynical crime, which claimed the lives of many, including women and children,” reads the telegram published on the Kremlin’s website.

 

The Russian leader praised the bravery and professionalism of Pakistani military personnel and law enforcement officers, whose swift actions helped save hundreds of lives.

 

 

Putin also reaffirmed Russia's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Pakistan in combating terrorism in all its forms.

 

“Please convey my words of sympathy and support to the families of the victims, as well as my wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in this horrific attack,” the Russian president concluded.
