Russia intends to reinforce its role as a world energy leader and develop partnerships to build a sustainable global energy model for future generations. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during his address at the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week forum.
“It is particularly important to efficiently manage resource extraction and reserves, ensure technological and environmental progress in the industry, supply the domestic market, achieve national development goals, and fulfill international commitments. We have always done so, continue to do so, and will undoubtedly keep doing so. This remains one of our absolute priorities. Acknowledging these tasks and challenges, Russia intends to strengthen its position as a global energy leader and develop partnerships to build a fair and sustainable model for worldwide energy in the interests of future generations,” Putin stated.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Russian Energy Week forum would contribute significantly to these joint efforts, concluding with his best wishes for success to all participants and guests of the event.
