Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation to discuss the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and exchanged views on current international issues. This was reported by the press service of the Tajikistan leader.
During the conversation, the heads of state addressed ongoing matters related to the growth of Tajik-Russian cooperation and shared perspectives on key aspects of the international agenda. They also discussed the schedule for upcoming high-level meetings in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin informed that Putin is scheduled to visit Tajikistan for a state visit on October 9. The following day, October 10, a session of the Council of Heads of CIS States will be held in Dushanbe.
