09 July

The visa waiver agreement between Russia and Oman will come into force on July 18, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement.

“On July 18, the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on the mutual abolition of visa requirements, signed in Moscow on April 22, 2025, will enter into force,” the ministry said.

Under the agreement, Russian citizens will be able to enter and stay in Oman without a visa for up to 30 days per visit, provided the purpose of travel is not permanent residence, study, or work requiring a permit. The total stay in Oman may not exceed 90 days within a calendar year, the ministry clarified.
