Russian President's Aide stated readiness to jointly produce equipment in Iran

The Russian companies are ready to start joint production of various vehicles, including cars, helicopters and agricultural equipment. According to Tasnim, this statement was made on Tuesday by Russian Presidential Aide and Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin who is visiting Tehran.


According to the agency, during a meeting with Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, he also stressed Russia's readiness to cooperate with the Islamic Republic in the supply of products and essential goods to the countries of the region.


Earlier on Tuesday, Levitin held talks with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani. The interlocutors exchanged views on the sanctions' policy of Western states against Russia and Iran. According to Shamkhani, quoted by the agency, "unilateral sanctions provoke escalation of both regional and global crises." Levitin, in turn, noted the creation of the mechanisms necessary for the two countries to overcome the sanctions-induced restrictions in the monetary and banking sector.
