Russia and Kyrgyzstan signed seven bilateral documents during President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Bishkek, along with a joint declaration on deepening their alliance and strategic partnership.
The signed agreements include a protocol amending the bilateral military-technical cooperation treaty, an intergovernmental agreement on public health cooperation, and a document establishing the legal status of liaison offices for internal affairs and migration authorities. The two sides also finalized terms for constructing a new campus for the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin.
Additional documents comprise a memorandum of understanding in cardiology between the two health ministries, a strategic planning cooperation agreement between their economic ministries, and a letter of intent between Russian Post and Kyrgyz Post.
