Kazakhstan and Russia share common values, with the friendship between their peoples being destiny-bound and their partnership and alliance standing the test of time. This was stated by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in a video address from Moscow to participants of the two countries' interregional cooperation forum in Uralsk.
“Kazakhstan and Russia are reliable, time-tested strategic partners and allies. Our countries share a common history, common memory, and common values. The friendship between our peoples is predetermined by destiny itself,” he emphasized.
Tokayev noted that bilateral cooperation continues to gain new substance through ongoing dialogue. “Our world's longest land border has become a vivid embodiment of the eternal friendship and unbreakable good-neighborliness between our peoples. Taking this opportunity, I extend sincere gratitude to the President of Russia for his consistent attention and support of the forum's activities and for strengthening our mutual cooperation across all spheres,” the Kazakh president stated.
