Russia is dedicated to developing comprehensive cooperation with Oman in the interests of both nations, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin during the opening of a photo exhibition marking the 40th anniversary of Russian-Omani diplomatic relations.
"We reaffirm our commitment to further developing multifaceted cooperation with our friends in Muscat. We are confident this will effectively address priority tasks in Russian-Omani collaboration for the benefit of our peoples," the senior diplomat emphasized. "There is no doubt that, drawing upon accumulated experience and mutual trust, we can realize the substantial potential that exists."
The deputy minister also extended wishes on behalf of the Russian Foreign Ministry leadership to Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said for "continued success, good health, and happiness," and to the "friendly people of Oman - steady progress and development."
