Kazakh Foreign Ministry: Trustful Dialogue Between Tokayev and Putin Plays Key Role

22 October

The regular dialogue and trustful communication between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin play a crucial role in developing bilateral relations, stated Kazakh Foreign Minister Erzhan Kazykhanov following talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

“Trustful contacts between our nations' leaders serve as the cornerstone for advancing bilateral relations,” Kazykhanov emphasized. “Regular high-level dialogue sets the political momentum for our comprehensive cooperation and ensures consistent progress in joint initiatives.”

The minister highlighted that the two countries are bound by strategic partnership and alliance, built upon longstanding traditions of friendship and mutual understanding.

Kazykhanov's visit comes ahead of President Tokayev's scheduled state visit to Russia on November 12.
