Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This meeting was confirmed by Maria Zakharova, the official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"Sergey Lavrov is received by the prime minister of Bangladesh in Dhaka," as mentioned in a message posted on the diplomat's Telegram channel.
Lavrov arrived in Bangladesh the day before for his first visit. On Thursday, the minister held talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Abdul Kalam Abdul Momen.
