Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin revealed his plans to visit Bishkek on October 26 to participate in the meetings of the Councils of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
While attending the "Made in Russia" forum in Moscow, Mishustin held discussions with Nikolay Evtikhiev, the General Director of "IRE-Polyus," the largest Russian laser manufacturer specializing in urology, surgery, and pain therapy platforms and devices. During their conversation, Evtikhiev suggested the idea of establishing a unified certification system for medical devices within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). This proposal was made to simplify the certification process, as the company currently has to undergo a separate procedure in each EEU member country. Mishustin expressed his willingness to discuss this proposal with his colleagues during the upcoming summits in Bishkek.
In addition to the unified certification system, Evtikhiev recommended that a legal norm be established to mandate the use of disposable surgical fiber instruments. This step would help ensure complete sanitary safety in medical procedures, a suggestion that the prime minister welcomed.
Mishustin also took the opportunity to acquaint himself with products from various companies, including "ADM System," the sole Russian manufacturer of dental machines for dental crown production. The company has ambitious plans to produce 300 machines annually by 2026 and has received inquiries from countries such as Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and CIS countries.
The Russian prime minister then visited the stand of "Thermo Glas," which specializes in electrically heated double-glazed windows produced using patented technology. It was highlighted that "Thermo Glas" heaters have been in use at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier's Eternal Flame post of honor guard for nearly a decade.
Exhibition tour
At the exhibition, Veronika Nikishina, the Head of the Russian Export Center (REC), introduced the concept of the "Made in Russia" umbrella brand, which REC has been actively promoting. The use of this brand's icon on goods exported from Russia is expected to enhance their recognition and foster a positive image of the country internationally. Nikishina emphasized that this brand is particularly beneficial for the promotion of products from small and medium-sized companies in foreign markets.
Mishustin also visited the booth of "Vitulus SME", a company specializing in the production of machines designed for laser surface cleaning. The representative of the company explained that these machines comprise 85% Russian components and are highly effective at removing various types of contaminants.
While inspecting the Moscow exhibition stand, Mishustin commended the city's achievements in creating industrial and technological clusters. He highlighted the significance of such initiatives, particularly in a metropolis, as they offer substantial opportunities for advancing innovation in various industries. Mishustin expressed his encouragement to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Vladimir Efimov, and wished them continued success.
The prime minister also stressed the importance of developing urban industrial clusters with a focus on the well-being of citizens. He emphasized the need for these clusters to be seamlessly integrated into the city's life, generating new employment opportunities while minimizing environmental impact and other potential drawbacks.
