Russia is maintaining an active dialogue and will continue its contacts with the leadership of Iran, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. His remarks followed statements made by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who noted that Russia and China have been providing Iran with political and other forms of support.
"We are in dialogue with the Iranian side. We are in dialogue with representatives of the Iranian leadership, and we will, of course, continue this dialogue," Peskov told journalists.
When asked to specify whether military-technical cooperation between the two nations is currently active, the Kremlin representative declined to provide details. "That is all I would like to say on this topic," Peskov emphasized.
