Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised the current state of relations between Russia and Malaysia, describing them as being on an upward trajectory. Speaking after talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Putin noted that there is significant potential for further deepening the bilateral partnership.
“Russia-Malaysia relations are on the rise, developing steadily and successfully,” Putin stated. “Both sides are genuinely committed to making this cooperation even more substantive and productive. All the necessary conditions are in place for that.”
He highlighted the long-standing traditions of friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations, emphasizing that Moscow and Kuala Lumpur have consistently prioritized each other’s interests and pursued cooperation based on mutual respect and shared benefit.
