Tunisia is enthusiastic about enhancing its relations with Russia across various domains, and bilateral interactions are currently at a robust level. This statement was made by Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar.
"Tunisia and Russia have consistently maintained strong relations across various domains, including culture and humanitarian aspects, which hold significant importance for us. Russia is a crucial partner, and we are eager to foster and expand our relationship with them," he stated during a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Ammar underscored that "all areas of cooperation are wide open." He further emphasized, "We collaborate across various sectors, and there are no exceptions or hindrances that could deter us from advancing together."
Previously, Lavrov mentioned that discussions about the continuation and expansion of Russian grain exports to Tunisia were ongoing in Moscow. Additionally, he noted that both nations had reached an agreement to export Tunisian agricultural and textile products to the Russian market.
