At least 11 Palestinians have been injured in clashes with the Israeli military near the town of Jenin in the West Bank, Al Arabiya reported on Monday, citing data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
According to the channel, the exchange of fire took place in the village of Qabatiya during the detention of a Palestinian who refused to surrender and open fire. The clashes lasted for about an hour and a half. All 11 injured were hospitalized.
Israeli security forces have been conducting counter-terror operations in the West Bank since early April in response to a series of terror attacks in Israeli cities that killed 20 people.
