President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has signed a decree appointing Adylbek Kasymaliev as the Prime Minister of the Republic. The announcement was made by the presidential press service.

"President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov has signed a decree appointing Adylbek Kasymaliev as the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chief of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic," the statement on the president's official website said.

Additionally, Zhaparov approved the appointments of Daniyar Amangeldiev as First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Bakyt Sydykov as Minister of Economy and Commerce.

These leadership changes in the Kyrgyz government began on December 16, following the president’s decision to relieve Akylbek Zhaparov of his duties as head of the Cabinet of Ministers. Adylbek Kasymaliev, who was serving as First Deputy Chairman at the time, was named Acting Prime Minister. Daniyar Amangeldiev, previously Minister of Economy and Commerce, was appointed Acting First Deputy Prime Minister.
