Almost 40 Countries Participate in the Forum of Education Ministers in Kazan

Representatives from nearly 40 countries and more than 150 delegations are participating in the II International Forum of Education Ministers "Shaping the Future," taking place on June 10 and 11 in Kazan. Russian Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov shared this information with reporters.

 

"We have about 40 countries participating in the forum, more than 150 delegations. The first forum, which we held a year ago, showed that we began to open more Russian language centers in the countries, began to develop contacts not only in school education, but also in secondary vocational education," Kravtsov stated.

 

 

Notably, representatives from Chad, South Africa, Djibouti, Uganda, Iraq, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Turkey are attending for the first time.

 

During the forum, participants will discuss various topics, including the development of preschool and secondary education, projects focused on children with disabilities, career guidance for schoolchildren, and the use of artificial intelligence in education. The event will also feature a meeting of BRICS Education Ministers to review the progress of educational projects within the interstate association amidst global challenges.
