The BRICS association can play a constructive role in stabilizing both the Middle East and the global arena during the current crisis surrounding Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a telephone conversation with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
"Araghchi emphasized that international and regional organizations must condemn the military aggression unleashed against Iran. Pointing to the importance of BRICS as a platform for developing multilateral cooperation, he noted that the group's constructive role is essential at this moment to maintain stability and security at both the regional and global levels," according to the press service of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
