Armenian authorities imposed martial law and declared general mobilization

The Armenian authorities declared martial law and general mobilization in the country due to the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.

 

"The government decision declares martial law and general mobilization in the Republic of Armenia. The decision will take effect after its official publication. I urge the personnel assigned to the troops to report to their territorial military commissariats," he wrote on Facebook.

 

Earlier, the authorities of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic declared martial law and mobilization.
It became known about the next escalation on the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh this morning. According to the press secretary of the President of the unrecognized Republic, the Azerbaijani military shelled settlements on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, including its capital Stepanakert.
