Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UAE Minister of State Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan met in Abu Dhabi to discuss the urgent need to find solutions to crisis situations on the African continent, adhering to international law norms without external interference.
"The meeting involved a comprehensive exchange of views on the African continent's situation, with a focus on the necessity of finding political and diplomatic solutions to regional crisis situations in line with international law principles, without external intervention," the Russian foreign ministry stated in a press release.
The ministry further noted that the discussions between Moscow and Abu Dhabi reaffirmed the commitment of both parties to maintain close coordination on fundamental positions regarding the African agenda within BRICS, the UN and other multilateral platforms.
