Sanjrani also noted that the republic hopes to further strengthen bilateral relations with Russia across the political spectrum and is interested in developing trade ties.

"It should be noted that the ties between the peoples of our countries stretch over centuries. In today's changing world, we optimistically hope to expand and strengthen bilateral relations across the political spectrum," he said. Our bilateral relations today are characterized by a mutual desire to expand, strengthen cooperation, respect, and above all, trust," he added.

In addition, the Senate chairman expressed gratitude to Russian leader Vladimir Putin for supporting the development of ties between the countries. "I would like to emphasize that President Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly this year mentioned Pakistan in the context of further development of trade ties, and we are grateful to him for that," Sanjrani summarized.
