The death toll resulting from Israeli Air Force airstrikes on populated areas of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night has risen to 53, as reported by the Tasnim news agency.

According to the agency, hospitals in the Gaza Strip have confirmed that the casualties from the Israeli Air Force attacks on the towns of Khan Younis and Rafah have reached 53.

Previously, it was reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted Beit Lahiya, Nuseirat, Rafah, and Khan Younis, killing 28 people after midnight. Al Mayadeen  reported that Israeli aircraft bombed a local Civil Defense team conducting rescue operations in Gaza's Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, where several buildings had collapsed following the airstrikes.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, since the military escalation began on October 7, the death toll in Gaza has climbed to 5,112, with 15,273 people injured. The number of missing individuals, possibly trapped under the rubble of homes destroyed during the bombings, stands at 1,500. The ministry also noted that 44 medical facilities in the enclave have ceased operations due to a shortage of fuel supplies.
