Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Russia, Hamdi Shaaban, to discuss the current state of affairs in the Persian Gulf. The meeting, detailed in a report by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on both bilateral cooperation and regional stability.
"The parties discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between Russia and Egypt within international organizations, primarily the United Nations, regarding pressing issues on the global agenda," the ministry stated. "They also exchanged views on the Middle East, with a particular focus on the Persian Gulf."
