Digital Almaty Forum Begins in Almaty

01 February

The sixth edition of the international forum, Digital Almaty, has commenced at the Kazakhstan Business Cooperation Center "Atakent" in Almaty. TASS correspondents are covering the event from the venue.

Running from February 1-3, the forum is themed "Industry X: Digital Evolution of the Future." It concludes with a plenary session featuring the heads of government from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states on Friday. Additionally, on February 2, the prime ministers will convene the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in both narrow and extended formats.

Digital Almaty 2024 will unite government representatives from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and EAEU nations, alongside industry leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs to discuss and develop strategies for the future of the digital industry.

The forum will feature a competition for the best industrial startup, an exhibition showcasing Kazakhstan's major subsurface users, technoparks, and tech firms. Over 200 speakers, including international experts, industry leaders, and innovators in IT and business, will engage in panel discussions to present case studies of integrating new technologies into the economic sector and fostering innovation.

Organizers anticipate that the forum will attract more than 30,000 attendees over the course of the three-day event.
