Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi expressed his country's commitment to further strengthening strategic cooperation with Russia during the plenary session of the second Russia-Africa summit.
He assured that Egypt is ready to continue contributing to the deepening of their strategic cooperation based on shared principles. President el-Sisi also emphasized the importance of the documents to be signed at the summit, particularly in areas such as economic cooperation, industrialization, agricultural development and infrastructure. He highlighted the historical ties between the peoples of Egypt and Russia as a significant factor in their cooperation and interaction.
Furthermore, el-Sisi stated that Cairo is keen to enhance ties and relations between Egyptian and Russian companies and organizations.
