Russian authorities will soon remove 47 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who were previously banned to enter the Russian Federation for various offenses, from the black list. This was announced on Wednesday at a press conference in Bishkek by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Zheenbek Kulubayev.
"With regard to 47 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian side decided to apply migration amnesty," he said.
According to him, at the first stage, about 20 thousand Kyrgyz citizens, who have previously violated various laws in the Russian Federation, will be removed from the black list.
The minister notes that the amnesty was made possible thanks to the agreements, reached at the level of presidents and governments of the two countries.
Earlier this month, the MFA of Kyrgyzstan announced about the intention of the Russian side to remove restrictions on entry to Russia for 47,000 Kyrgyz citizens who had previously committed "minor administrative offenses".
After the application of the migration amnesty, 35,000 Kyrgyz citizens, most of whom were deported from Russia "on the basis of decisions of Russian courts," will remain in Russia's blacklists.
