Foreign Ministers from 12 Nations Condemn "Unjustified" Iranian Strikes

The foreign ministers of 12 Arab and Islamic countries, meeting in Riyadh, have issued a joint statement condemning Iranian strikes against Arabian Gulf states as "unjustified" and calling for an immediate end to the attacks.

 

"Iran's strikes on the Gulf countries cannot be justified in any way; their targets are civilian infrastructure and residential areas. Tehran must stop these attacks immediately," the statement noted, as reported by the Al Hadath television channel. The participants in the Riyadh meeting also reaffirmed that the Arabian Gulf states "have the full right to self-defense" and agreed to "continue coordination with the aim of stopping Iranian aggression."

 

The high-level consultative meeting brought together the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates.
