Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Khamro Rahimzoda met on Thursday with Russian Ambassador to the country Igor Lyakin-Frolov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the press service of Tajikistan's Interior Ministry reported.
"The Russian Federation is among the key partners for the Republic of Tajikistan, and we are satisfied with the growing process of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Russia," the minister said during the meeting.
The head of the Tajikistan Interior Ministry valued Lyakin-Frolov's activities as ambassador to Tajikistan. "You worked hard and made a feasible contribution, help and assistance in strengthening trust between our countries," he stressed.
Igor Lyakin-Frolov expressed gratitude for mutually beneficial cooperation and wished success in future endeavors, the Tajik MIA reported.
