Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali has expressed gratitude to the Russian government for their swift response following the Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus during a conversation with Grigory Karasin, the head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has firmly denounced the attack on the Iranian consular office in Syria, stating that "Israel's aggressive actions are absolutely unacceptable and must be stopped."
In response to Russia's firm stance, Ambassador Jalali noted, "We are grateful to the Russian government for promptly issuing a statement condemning this terrorist attack."
