The comprehensive strategic partnership treaty between Moscow and Tehran comprises 47 articles and addresses all areas of bilateral cooperation, according to Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.
“This agreement includes a preamble and 47 articles, encompassing all fields of bilateral cooperation,” Jalali stated in an interview with Iran's state broadcaster. He emphasized that the treaty was drafted with a focus on “balance, sovereignty principles, and respect for the territorial integrity of the nations involved.”
On December 26, the ambassador announced that the Iran-Russia treaty would be signed on January 17, 2025, in Moscow during talks between the presidents of both countries.
