Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi suggested relocating Israelis to Greenland as an alternative to US President Donald Trump's idea of resettling Gaza Strip residents in Arab countries.
"My proposal is different. Instead of the Palestinians, they should try deporting the Israelis and take them to Greenland. This way, they can kill two birds with one stone," Araghchi stated in an interview with Sky News.
This statement was made in response to Trump's remarks on January 25, where he suggested resettling 1.5 million displaced Gaza residents, affected by Israeli military operations, in Arab countries. Trump mentioned that he had already discussed the idea with Jordan's King Abdullah II.
