Relations between Russia and Iran are developing comprehensively, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a meeting with Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and leader of the LDPR party.
“Our relations with the Russian Federation are expanding across the board. We are cooperating in virtually all areas,” Araghchi said during the meeting at the State Duma.
The Iranian foreign minister also highlighted the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries.
Araghchi arrived in Moscow on December 16 for an official visit. According to Russia’s Foreign Ministry, talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart are scheduled to take place in Moscow on December 17.
