Cooperation between Iran and Russia is proceeding as planned despite the current situation in the Islamic Republic, with both sides working to fulfill previously established agreements, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said during a press briefing.
"Cooperation between Iran and Russia is based on existing agreements and reached understandings. This partnership continues," Baghaei emphasized. While he acknowledged that the ongoing state of war in the Islamic Republic has caused temporary pauses in some joint projects across various sectors, he clarified that the overall framework remains intact. "In general, all agreements and treaties between Iran and the Russian Federation within the scope of strategic cooperation and partnership are still in full force," he added. According to Baghaei, representatives from both countries are making every effort to utilize all available opportunities to implement their shared commitments.
