The Israeli military has conducted a new strike on Lebanese territory, targeting what it identified as military infrastructure used by the Shiite organization Hezbollah.
According to an Israeli Defense Forces statement, the strike hit a rocket launcher and the entrance to an underground tunnel near the southern Lebanese town of El-Mahmoudia. Israeli authorities claimed these facilities violated the ceasefire agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
“The IDF will continue to take action to counter any threats to the State of Israel,” the statement concluded.
