Israeli Defense Forces are storming the city of Nablus, located in the West Bank, according to reports from Al Jazeera. The Israeli forces are reported to be within the city limits, advancing towards neighborhoods in its historic part.
The escalation in the Middle East follows the infiltration of fighters from the Palestinian movement Hamas into Israeli territory on October 7. In response, Israel declared a complete blockade of Gaza and commenced strikes against the enclave, as well as towns in the West Bank, and parts of Lebanon and Syria.
