The Anglo-Saxons have contacts with the armed opposition and secretly sponsors IS (terrorist group Islamic State, banned in the Russian Federation) in Afghanistan, Russian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov  said on Friday on the air of the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"Worse is that in addition to contacts with the armed opposition in Afghanistan, the Anglo-Saxons secretly sponsor fighters who are aimed against the stability of not only our partners in Central Asia and other neighbors of Afghanistan, but also against the security of Russia," he said.

Kabulov emphasized that the Anglo-Saxons  "desire to take revenge for their shameful military and political defeat in Afghanistan." "In retaliation, they are doing everything so that no peace will be established in this long-suffering land," the diplomat added.
