The ministry of health of Kazakhstan against the background of geopolitical tensions is considering the replacement of Ukrainian medicines with drugs from Russia and India. This was reported by the head of the department Azhar Giniyat at the government meeting on Tuesday.
"Contracts on Ukrainian-made drugs have been revised and tenders are being held with Indian and Russian suppliers," she said.
According to her, currently there are no problems with the provision of drugs in Kazakhstan.
March 18 Giniyat said that Kazakhstan buys from Ukrainian producers 25 different medicines, further supply of medicines from Ukraine are in question. At the same time, the head of the agency noted that there are no difficulties with the supply of medicines from Europe, Russia and Belarus.
