Kazakhstanis in Russia to Vote in Constitutional Referendum on March 15

Citizens of Kazakhstan living in Russia will be able to cast their votes in a nationwide referendum on a new constitution, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in Moscow.


According to a decree issued by the head of state, the republican referendum is scheduled for March 15, 2026. Kazakhstani citizens who are at least 18 years old will be eligible to vote at the Kazakhstan Embassy in Moscow, where polling station No. 429 will be operational. The station will be open from 07:00 to 20:00 Moscow time, and voters must present either a passport or a valid national ID card.


In addition to the Moscow location, the embassy confirmed that polling stations will be established at the Consulates General of Kazakhstan in several other major Russian cities, including St. Petersburg, Kazan, Astrakhan, and Omsk.
