The International Economic Forum “Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum 2025” will host approximately 120 thematic sessions this May, covering halal industry, partnership financing, tourism, transport corridors, and more, according to Roscongress.
The 16th edition of KazanForum, set to take place from May 13 to 18 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, will focus on the theme:
“Digitalization: New Reality and Additional Opportunities for Expanding Cooperation.”
Key Discussion Topics
The forum will bring together experts from Russian regions, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, and other countries to discuss:
Multimodal transport corridors
Tourism and economic security
Export of Russian halal products
Industrial, technological, educational, cultural, and youth projects
Partnership-based financial models
The plenary session will be the central event of the business program.

Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the KazanForum Organizing Committee, emphasized the strategic significance of collaboration with Islamic nations:
