Kyrgyz Prime Minister to Attend Innoprom Exhibition in Russia

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Zhaparov, is scheduled to attend the Innoprom industrial exhibition in Russia, as well as participate in key intergovernmental meetings. This was confirmed by the press service of the Kyrgyz government.

 

Akylbek Zhaparov, who is also the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, will undertake a working visit to the Russian Federation from July 9-10. His agenda includes participation in the "Innoprom-2024" industrial exhibition, the 25th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical, and humanitarian cooperation, and the 11th Kyrgyz-Russian interregional conference.

 

The Innoprom-2024, set to take place in Yekaterinburg, will operate under the theme "Technological Partnership: Shaping the Image of the Future." Zhaparov is slated to engage in the main strategic session of the event and will also visit the Kyrgyzstan pavilion alongside other government leaders.

 

The press service further reported that the 25th meeting of the intergovernmental commission will convene in Krasnoyarsk. Discussions at this meeting will focus on expanding trade and economic ties, deepening integration within the Eurasian Economic Union, and fostering cooperation in the fields of science, education, and culture.

 

Additionally, the upcoming bilateral interregional conference will concentrate on bolstering interregional connections between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. Topics of discussion will include cooperation in industry, agriculture, tourism, and investment, according to the government's press service.
