Lavrov and Cavusoglu discuss country coordination and the situation in Syria, Libya and Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed regional and bilateral cooperation between Russia and Turkey, as well as the situation in Syria, Libya and Ukraine at a meeting on the margins of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council (FMC) meeting in Stockholm, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued on Thursday.


"The foreign ministers checked the notes on key bilateral issues and also discussed coordination of the two countries' efforts on regional tracks, including further stabilization of the situation in the Transcaucasus," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.


They also discussed the possibility of joint steps to facilitate a Bosnian settlement. "There was an exchange of views on the international agenda: Syria, Libya, and Ukraine," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.


Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov takes part in a meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm. The Russian Foreign Minister met with OSCE Secretary-General Helga Schmid, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss on the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council on December 2.
